The washington Nationals opened their spring training yesterday in Florida against the Marlins as they begin to evaluate how their potential lineup will shape up in the upcoming season.
The Nationals are seeking to solidify their roster in the backdrop of injuries, acquisitions and retirements in the past season. Its no question that the retirement of veteran first baseman and third baseman Ryan Wallace Zimmerman has left a huge shoes to fill, and the Nats must determine who will backup Josh Bell this coming season.
