The Smithsonian Zoo has announced that it will be hosting programs and performances throughout the day and night on June 21, 2025, to mark Solstice Saturday.
A number of events have been lined up including a free, fun-filled immersive scientific experience at the Zoo. On Solstice Saturday, visitors can engage with scientists, researchers and animal experts to learn how science is shaping the future of wildlife conservation.
The Visitor Center will be screening a rotating series of short films highlighting conservation work done by Smithsonian researchers.
