Jazz In The Garden Is Back

The DC  Jazz In The Garden summer concert series return this Friday at the National Gallery.

According to the organizers, there will be live musical performances ranging from jazz to Afro-Cuban and bluegrass in our outdoor Sculpture Garden every Friday from May 20 through July 22.

This year’s opening act by Nataly Merezhuk: Jazz Violin is scheduled to start at 6pm .

June 3rd – Pedrito Martinez: Afro-Cuban

June 10th –The Daniel Ho Band: New Hawaiian & Contemporary Instrumental

June 17th – Bombay Rickey: Global Psychedelia

June 24th – Caique Vidal and Batuque: Afro-Brazilian

July 1st     – Delfeayo Marsalis Sextet: New Orleans Jazz

July 8th    – The Althea René Band: Soul-Jazz Flute

July 15th  –  Todd Marcus Jazz Orchestra: Jazz & World Music

July 22nd  –  Sideline: Bluegrass

Registration is free and opens at noon one week before each concert.
