The 2019 edition of HERImpact DC Pitch Competition took place last week and the winners have been announced.
Competing for the grand prize of $50K were 10 finalists selected from a pool of 170 applicants. Choose DC wishes to congratulate the following winners:
- 1st Place – Stephanie Cummings of Please Assist Me ( Awarded $25K)
- 2nd Place: Lina Zdruli, Dafero (Awarded $20K)
- Audience Choice: LaQuida Chancey

The competition is sponsored by the Ford Motor Company Fund and 1863 Ventures, and is designed to help female social entrepreneurs scale their enterprises in order to increase their impact and long term sustainability.
