Remainder Of Nats Vs Mets Series Has Been Postponed

The Major League Baseball has announced that the remainder of  the series between the Washington Nationals and the New York Mets has been postponed, after a member of the organization tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

According the Nationals, after a follow-up testing and contact tracing involving members of the organization, additional 2 members were also found to be positive, bringing the total confirmed cases to 3.

We don’t want this thing to spread any further. We want to make sure that everybody’s healthy. I’ve talked to a lot of players, and my concern is about their health and safety. We’re going to get through this. This isn’t the first time we’ve been through some bumpy roads. We’ve been there, and we’re going to come back from this and we’re going to play baseball. –  Mike Rizzo, Nationals general manager
