Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin became the eighth player in NHL history to reach 700 goals, after scoring against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.
Ovechkin now joins one of the most exclusive clubs in NHL history, joining Jaromir Jagr, Phil Esposito, Wayne Gretzky, Brett Hull, Marcel Dionne, Mike Gartner and Gordie Howe.
