Washington Mystics forward Elena Delle Donne’s appearance in game 3 is up in the air, following what team doctors refer as a disk herniation in her back.
On Tuesday, the reigning WNBA MVP was subbed out only minutes after appearing in game 2 which was won by fierce rivals, Connecticut Sun.
The series is currently tied at 1-1, and game 3 continues on Sunday.
When Delle Donne went up for her first layup, her back grabbed on her,and she immediately asked to be subbed out. We won’t have anything probably for a couple days until we see what the tests show and what treatment looks like.
