National Public Lands Day and Rock Creek Park Day is This Weekend

Join Rock Creek Park in celebrating National Public Lands Day, a day to connect people to public lands in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage the use of public lands for education, recreation, and general health. With our partners, the Rock Creek Conservancy and the National Environmental Education Foundation, join us for volunteer activities in and around the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and more!
There are several partners working throughout Rock Creek Park on National Public Lands Day. To get involved and learn more about our partners click on the links below.

On this extra special day, we invite you to join us in celebrating Rock Creek Park Day, the anniversary of the creation of Rock Creek Park in 1890. Join us at the Nature Center for ranger- led talks, information about recreational activities in the park, and more.
