The wait is over. The grand opening of the Kennedy Center’s REACH is almost here, and there’s plenty of reasons to celebrate it in style. The new $250 annex sits on a 4.6-acre space, not far from the Potomac river.
According to the Kennedy Center, the festival will comprise of 16 days of “creativity in action” at the REACH—where nearly 500 events across the newly expanded campus, indoors and outdoors, are FREE.
Every day of the festival offers something for everyone, with daily spotlights on special themes or art forms sprinkled throughout. No matter when you visit, you’ll find plenty of unique performances, interactive activities, insightful conversations, and other events that speak to your interests and pique your curiosity. Explore everything from classical, jazz, and electronica music to comedy, dance, theater, film, Hip Hop, indigenous cultures, and family fun.
