The 15th edition of DC Jazz Festival kicks off on June 7th through the 16th.
This year’s event is expected to draw in over 100,000 visitors, with 125 performances on 40 venues, in over 20 neighborhoods with over 300 artists, including Cecile McLorin Salvant, SPAGAband , Kenny Garrett among others.
The DC Jazz Festival invites you to explore the exceptional array of renowned masters and emerging artists from across the jazz spectrum and beyond. Use the filter to find your favorite artist and various performances located throughout the District — including The Wharf and in your own neighborhood through Jazz in the ’Hoods. Catch the water taxi from Georgetown to the Wharf. Check out Anacostia and the Big Chair for East River JazzFest. Head to Buzzard Point to check out the CapitalBop Series. Visit Ivy City’s City Winery or Ivy Smokehouse. Check out Downtown and The Hamilton Live or Frankin Park. Or head to U street to Twins Jazz, BIN 301, or Ben’s Next Door. There is something for everyone.
