Major Events Lined Up for 4th of July Celebrations in DC

The fourth of July is once again upon us, and there’s plenty of Things To Do to Celebrate Americas Independence in DC.

Here are our top picks:

1. National Independence Day Parade – The parade starts from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Constitution Ave NW and 7th St NW, to Constitution Ave NW and 17^th.
2. A Capital Fourth – The Concert will be broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. Most notable this year will be performance by Vanessa Williams, Carole King, The O’Jays, National Symphony Orchestra and The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” among others.
3. Fireworks at National Mall – The Fireworks begin from 9:07 p.m. local time until 9:27 p.m. There are also plenty of rooftops and locations to catch the fireworks around DC.
4. Washington Nationals Vs The Marlins – The Patriotic Series start at 11:05 a.m.
5. Salute To America – The event organized by President Trump will take place at the Lincoln Memorial from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and will include music, demonstrations, military and flyovers.
