The 2019 National Gallery of Art’s Jazz in the Garden concert series kicks off this afternoon at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.
This year’s lineup includes diverse tunes ranging from African fusion and go-go to New Orleans Dixieland and salsa, with perfomances by Black Masala, Son del Caribe, and the Funky Dawgz Brass Band, Rob Curto’s Forró for All, Adwela & the Uprising, and The Bailsmen. The series continues every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. through August 23, 2019.
