The World Series Comes to DC after 86 Years

The Washington Nationals head home on Friday  not only to play the first World Series game in Washington since 1933, but to try to win the District’s first World Series title since ’24.

The Nationals on Thursday defeated The Houston Dodgers in a sold-out crowd by 12-3 win to maintain a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven World Series. The Houston Dodgers come to DC on Friday and Saturday for Game 3 and 4.

Clearly, the Nats have outplayed us, bottom line. They came into our building and played two really good games. – Astros manager AJ Hinch

Choose DC wishes The Nationals all the best!
