The 19th annual Library of Congress National Book Festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The event organized by the Library of Congress is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Most notable authors making appearances are Henry Luis Gates Jr, Barbara Kingsolver, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, renowned DC Chef and Philanthropist Jose Andres.
